Comments: In Bob Horan's guidebook, Bouldering Colorado, he mentions an area named B.C.'s Western Boulders. The map shows the area located west of Bone Park and Triangle areas. Unfortunately, only a few boulders are mentioned, and there are no pictures and few details of their location. In reality, the book raises more questions than answers.

Does anyone know any details regarding the area's location. Equally important, I'm curious if anyone knows who B.C. is?

Comments: I have always wondered who built the trails that access the Mecca area, particularly the trails that wind through the Blue Moon > Pink Floyd > Southie areas below the cliff band.

I've heard a few different stories: an old cross-country running route and Steve Cheyney created it to access the bouldering area.

Anyway, I've used it on hundreds of occasions now, and I'm absolutely appreciative of its existence, and I'm curious where it came from.

Anyone know anything?

Comments: Managed to add a sit start to the problem today. Bumped up the grade a few notches along with the quality. The sit really completes the problem, as it adds a difficult dyno and several more moves.

Comments: What a great problem, Brad! The best line at Late Bloomer, IMHO.

Just in case you didn't get enough of that spot. I was up there last week and noticed an untouched line that climbs about 15-20 yards left of this one. It looks equally impressive.

Comments: I've added some organization to the Late Bloomer area. In doing so, I named the boulders according to the information that was already present on existing pages, but a few of the boulder names were not listed. So I took the liberty of arbitrarily naming them. Please let me know if you have any information regarding the names/corrections/additions, and I will revise them.

Comments: @Brad, Thanks! Nothing like finding the already found within twenty yards of a set of boulders that I've visited a few dozen times ;).

@Jared, I'm looking forward to it!

Comments: Matt had this one listed as a V1. I wasn't sure if this was graded for a sit or stand start. For the stand, I'd agree with the V1, but I felt like the sit start warranted a higher grade.
