Comments: A couple powerful moves on the flake to some sloping jugs, super fun lowball. Topout isn't bad just a mantle with a couple small holds to help you out.

Comments: Hey, I had posted on the forums and didn't get any replies. Anyone going to be around Dec 23-30? I'll be in the KC area and either going to ibex or heading down to warsaw for a day. Let me know if you're interested, thanks!

Comments: Pitch 2 was an awesome awkward wide crack,a #3 fits just off the deck and a #4 BD fits perfectly about halfway up. Don't let all the haters deter you, it was a fun grovel past the bulge with some fists and chicken winging tossed in the mix.

Comments: Does anyone have any beta on other routes up LPP, such as summer solstice and the czech pillar routes? Also, what guidebooks have these routes listed in them?

Comments: Right on, my purpose wasn't to scold anyone. Just didn't want any disrespect thrown toward anyone. I'm stoked you all got out and hopped on something unknown and obscure and finished it.

Comments: So did you actually speak to any long time climbers in the Humboldt/Trinity area to see if you actually did the FA of this? (Just because there is no guidebook doesn't mean it hasn't been done.)Climbers have been going to the trinities for years now, I would be surprised if it took until last week to climb this route.

Comments: Mellow and fun route, I feet it is a solid first lead for anyone considering the short pitches and good placements. The step around was fun even without sporting a sombrero and chucks. We did the finish that goes straight up the crack at the 2nd belay which was great but I ended up wandering around a bit to find a good belay spot from the top.

Comments: Did this a couple weeks ago, it was definitely an epic. We arrived a day early to dial the approach which helped avoid any speed bumps the day of the climb. The first pitch was straight forward and a rope stretcher but a 60 does reach the alcove.

We didn't encounter any problems until the slab, which was mellow through the first 3 bolts. After the 3rd bolt we attempted to go straight up to the ledge which definitely seemed much more difficult than 5.8 slab. I proceeded to slip 15 feet above th... more >>

Comments: Went in search of this place last fall and found a sweet area with large beautiful moss covered boulders. I can't help to think that its bad juju "cleaning" these boulders just for a few boulder problems. I'd keep this area untouched and go enjoy the aretes or any other developed crag in the area.
