Born and raised in the Penobscot River Valley, moved west after college. My first climb was Off-Width Chimney on South Bubble in Acadia NP.

I love time spent above treeline. For me the alpine environment is one of the most magical places on earth. The vastness and rugged beauty of a broad alpine saddle frequently causes me to lose myself for a moment. Exhilarating alpine ridges make my heart race, and summits make me smile.
