Trying to live!

Since I was a child, I have always wanted to rock climb. Growing up living in NYC and not being around people with my same interests for the outdoors pretty much stunted my personal will to do the things I want to do. It's time to push pass that!

Biggest question for anyone who comes across my page:

As a total beginner living in NYC, where can I learn/train to rock climb that is not ran by bougie/hipster New Yorkers? I guess I wouldn't mind driving within an hours distance of the city.
