Comments: One 60 meter rope rap off the back works just fine with rope to spare. Be sure to take a gander at the bolted 5.12 Face climb on your way down too, you know, in case you want to climb it next!

Comments: Were you guys at the Pillow Wall at the Forks on Memorial Day? Did you leave a red blue water runner with green tape on the biners slung around a tree? It has ended up in Prescott with the guys that were climbing next to you. I'd be happy to get it back to you if you can think of a cost effective way to do it! Best thing would be if we or even any of our friends ended up at the same area again and could just hand it over without paying for any shipping. Anyway, get in touch if it's yours and you... more >>

Comments: Does look a whole lot like the very beginning of Beat Feet at the McDowell's to me!

Comments: Two bolts must have been added to the bottom of the climb since this description was written. There is no 45' runout to the first bolt. P1 is short and easy (5.6-ish). P2 is longer and more fun(5.8-ish).

Comments: After looking at an old guidebook, I think it's Huckleberry Thin 5.9. Anybody want to make it official?

Comments: As of today, the entire climb is bolted pretty well. It may be hard to spot all the bolts from the ground, but it felt fine to me with no gear.

Comments: I concur with the nut placement. It's a good idea. Otherwise it would be a bit run out.

Comments: Fun climb. Can be top-roped after leading the adjacent Unknown 5.7 to it's left. Both climbs use the same anchor. Anyone know what this thing is called? Is it in the old Rock & Ice mini-guide to the Dells? If you're wondering where this is, you walk right past it on your way to set up a TR for the Descent Gully climbs.

Comments: Great climb for a moderate leader. Start facing west on the corner with your back to the spire. Anyone know a proper name for this climb?

Comments: An awkward 5.7 at best. I agree that a 5.6 leader would most likely end up bailing on this thing. And beyond that, I didn't think it was a very fun climb at all, so why bother. I used the adjacent face to the left a lot. Is that off route?
