| Graffiti Face Project. This is the first boulder you see on approach. I worked on trying to get up the thin face with the arete for your left hand... Nothing to show for it but it might go. | WI : Monico Boulders | | Sep 12, 2012 |

| Sit start on good ledge and move up to vertical crack on right. Warm up 2, V1? | WI : Monico Boulders | | Sep 12, 2012 |
| Easy Warmup. Maybe this is the one listed as V0? | WI : Monico Boulders | | Sep 12, 2012 |
| New easy problem on Bloody Ankles boulder. Follow far right rail from sit all the way up to the top out of Bloody Ankles... Not too tough. It's called Easy Ankles V1/2 | WI : Monico Boulders | | Sep 12, 2012 |
| This is the right side of the V7+ project... didn't get time to work much on it but I reckon it'll be a good one. | WI : Monico Boulders | | Sep 12, 2012 |
| Chippewa Blood V5/6. This is the sit start to Bloody Ankles which is V5 but didn't feel very hard to me so I'm not sure about the grade of this one. Whatever the grade it's a fun problem. | WI : Monico Boulders | | Sep 12, 2012 |

Location: WI : Monico Boulders : Bloody Ankles (V5) By: mggrandall When: Sep 8, 2012 | view comment >> | Comments: Added a sit start to this Bloody Ankles this morning. Hacked up my thumb doing it (not my ankles though). Calling it Chippewa Blood, V5. It could be harder or easier... not sure about the grading but it was definitely harder than the regular Bloody Ankles V4-5... The majority of my climbing has been in Australia and that would probably only be a V3 there but maybe the Aussie bouldering grading is a bit off.

By: mggrandall When: May 26, 2012 | view comment >> | Comments: Hey Daniel, I will be in northern WI for the summer and would love to help you develop this are or Monico a bit more... I'm a good spotter (don't have a pad though-- at least not in America) and have done a fair bit of development in other countries... how can I get hold of you? I'll be staying in Eagle River, thanks, Mike

Location: WI : Rib Mountain By: mggrandall When: Feb 19, 2012 | view comment >> | Comments: thanks Chris! appreciate the help. bummer about the closure. seems like a cool area and not so far from Eagle River where I'll be staying for three months. maybe I'll check out Mountain WI as well but looks like only a few V1s there so far...

Location: WI : Rib Mountain By: mggrandall When: Feb 19, 2012 | view comment >> | Comments: is this area still closed? I will be pretty close for the summer and was looking for the closest V5s to try. I'll be in Eagle River and this place and Monico look the closest but there is much more here.

Location: WI : Monico Boulders By: mggrandall When: Feb 15, 2012 | view comment >> | Comments: I climbed here a couple years ago and thought there might be room for a couple new problems... I'm surprised no one has done the project yet. This summer I'll be back in WI for a couple months, staying not far from Monico and will work on it a bit... anyone been there lately?
