Comments: Approach: find the well traveled Indian Hollow trail at the opening of the fence behind group camp 2. When you get to the sign that says sugarloaf, go left. If you can't yet see the slabs at the base you might try using the cairns. Steve

Comments: This photo is pretty accurate, but hard to follow by memory if you've never been there. I think on the upper section you should drop into the bowl just a bit earlier (like Paul says). Yes, it's choked, but nothing compared to the bushwack to come at the base of the rope. Do stay close to the wall. That pinnacle is key and easy to see.

Comments: Well Labor day was a huge hit at the DRAW. Lots of camping climbing and fun. Monday was disappointing though: We went ahead and packed out your broken campchair and picked up the leftovers of the chineese food. We luckily had enough water left to put out that smoldering fire on the east side of the camping road. I thought the bouquet of wild flowers was nice, but I'd rather see them growing than being tied and left to die on that log in the hot sun. Lets keep that place from being furt... more >>

Comments: There are at least 2 routes here, both sound like a college class. Biomechanix 60 by Scott needs a #6 so I haven't done it yet. Its a North side broken crack to the summit. Another route goes up the tempting splitter exiting at the roof. There is even an east(ish) facing crack (looks good) that may get you up avoiding the roof. Help anyone? Steve

Comments: Some saint left a webbing and double biner belay at the top of the squeeze chimney (2nd pitch after the broken section) Bring another 20 footer if you want to back it up. Also using the bolts for the rappel is a much faster descent than in the past. Thanks! Steve
