Comments: William, this rock has been climbed on for many, many years, so it would be quite surprising to me if all of these routes had not been climbed prior to 2010. The lack of climbers in this area tends to make the rock appear virgin, being dirty and not covered in chalk, but that doesn't mean that these routes have not been climbed. I would think twice about claiming FAs on Hokum Rock.

Comments: I went to the right side anchor and it felt a bit harder than 11a. Fun climb!

Comments: I was unaware that the route broke right at the bulge to follow the left trending under cling and instead I climbed straight up the bulge with micro gear through the seam. It was certainly harder than 5.8, but does anybody know what it goes at?

Great climb!

Comments: Midnight ascent 08-17-13. Car to car in 5 hours. We did it in 6 pitches with simul-climbing intertwined. Good times.

Comments: I second that. And Pitch 4 is 5.8, not 10a. Great route! Highly recommend stretching the rope and combining pitches 8 and 9.

Don't bring any cams, just nuts and wires.

Comments: Climbed this route over the winter but decided to do the Direct Finish. The rock quality and exposure through this finish were great! Highly recommended.

Comments: Climbed the route yesterday, and man was that upper section after the right facing corner caked in crunchy vegetation. Sure made a thrill getting to the last bolt/ topping out, but entirely worth it. I may rap it next time and brush it down, it would be worth doing. Good times!
