Comments: Beautiful route that gets your attention right away. Don't go here on a cold windy day. The wind funnels up the draws and slams into the rock. The first time I climed the route I was worried about getting blown off. The most recent time I damn near froze. When it is nice and warm out ... well then don't pass up the opportunity to climb this one of a kind route.

Comments: AC I respect your opinion of not retro bolting routes in areas, however it seems to me that South Seas is an area that beginner climbers, and those who wish to step up to the next grade, can venture to without risking life and limb on a bad fall. South Seas is one of my favorite areas just for that reason.I am not a great climber, and I still hate to fall, but I do like pushing myself while knowing I can drive myself to my limits without risking a 20 foot plus fall.Lets not over bolt routs, like... more >>

Comments: A little help please. What is the route immediately to the right of All Tuckered Out? It has six, I think, bolts and follows a flaired crack. RL appx 70 ft. 5.9, 5.10- I think.Whatever the name, it is a 3-star climb in my book.

Comments: The third bold protecting the crux is missing the hanger making a fall at the crux nasty into a ledge below. A fall above the crux could result in hitting the deck.
Also the anchors for the route between Tranquil Evening and Misty Morning are loose.

Comments: Just watched Friction Addiction and my entire mindset on boldering has changed from, I would rather gear up for a long route than touch a boulder to pumped up and stoked to go visit the small rock.
Question. How do the bolder ratings compare to 5. ratings?

Comments: After reaching the rock at 8:40 it was nearly 1 before we could start the 1st pitch. 6 pitches later we were on top and in trouble. Getting dark and no headlamps. THANK GOD for a full moon.
