Comments: Just did this route today. Very dirty. Don't expect to see any chalk, lots of lichen though :). You definitely don't need gear to 3.5". I'm no trad pro, and I never used anything larger than a #1. Take a few shoulder length and a double length slings. As of today, the "anchor" is doable for a rap there is a good biner up there for it.

Comments: Hot Stuff is yet one of the best climbs that I have done in the Canyon. The exposure, length, and sequence moves on this climb make it a great route. If you are looking for a good, extended one-pitch climb in the canyon that is not too hard, but still offers some challenge, hit this climb. You will have a sweet time!

Comments: This is the best routes I've ever done. The exposure is great. The hike in from Glacier Gorge is windy as hell at times, but normally, when the sun hits, it dies down. This one is sweet as hell! From when your standing on the beginning ledge to when you are balancing yourself on the "perch-like" summit, you have a five star view of the surrounding mountains and of sky pond down below. The rap down is fun as hell also. However, the scramble down to the base where the packs are tends to be a b... more >>
