Comments: A very nice addition to the wall... Continuous at the grade with some tricky moves along the way makes for some fun climbing. And it's long, too! Thanks for the new accoutrements, Jason!

Comments: The best of the grade in White Rock? A dubious distinction to be sure, but... consistent, thought-provoking moves on clean rock with good pro the whole way up. What more could you ask for? If only it was longer...

Comments: FWIW, I can't recall exactly where the bolts are. However, I do seem to recall only climbing the left "butt cheek". Also, I did not have any problem reaching the anchors with my 59m rope (although it did drag a good bit at the end and I did start around on the north side of the formation). Maybe I will just have to go back and climb it again...

Comments: A more general perspective would be to say that the quality ratings are based on one's own experience. However, the beauty of this forum (or at least one appealing aspect of it) is that it aggregates the quality ratings (and the difficulty ratings, but those seem to be more objective). This feature makes it possible to come to a consensus on the quality of a route that is quite independent of any one person's subjective opinion. So, I would encourage you, who has necessarily much different ex... more >>

Comments: Indeed, my quality ratings are intended to be taken in the context of the general region the climb is in. This was not my original assumption, but rather what I have gleaned from reading mountain project and in discussions with other users. For example, by rating the two climbs here with four stars as I did, I mean to suggest simply that they are among the best, for their grade, in this area. I don't assume that P2 of "Packrat Dihedral" is exactly "High Exposure", but it is certainly fun and,... more >>

Comments: I've incremented the bolt count to 5 in the description.

Comments: Not the best route but one of my personal favorites. Similar in difficulty to "Holy Wall" but completely different (and with much less traffic). I would personally like to see some bolts on this route in the future (particularly down low before the crack starts).

Comments: Best route at this grade at the Overlook and often "Overlooked" (please forgive me) by beginners. Also an enjoyable trad warmup.

Comments: I've also heard this route called "Sensuous S".
