More information:

I am retired, can travel and like to climb new places. I am progressive politically, but not necessarily PC. Enjoy good beer.

Feb 2011: Went to Brazos, NM, Taquitz & Suicide last summer and tried NH/MA routes in fall.

Recovering from shoulder surgery on March 1.
My partner moved to Dartmouth in NH to finish research, so I am also looking for partners to climb in New England and NY.

Faulted surface. Supremacy Rock. El Dorado Canyon, CO. Coal Creek Quartzite. Another nearby faulted climbing surface is Red Slab, in Clear Creek Canyon, Golden, CO. <br />The polished surface is the result of 2 blocks of rock moving across each other. Unknown at the time of posting this pic is when this movement occurred--1 billion+ years ago when rocks were colliding against present North American from the south?--During the rise of the Ancestral Rockies ~ 300+ million years?; during the Laramide Orogeny, 63 million years ago?
