Comments: Just barely. Engine sucked in water and hydrolocked just as I pulled up on the eastern shore. After ejecting the water, breaking spark plugs, etc, we limped our way into moab with every light on the dash board blinking. Rolled into Napa, got some parts, and pushed for Denver!

Comments: This is a pretty good area. Back when I lived near there, I would climb here quite a bit. There's a lot of routes that are close together. It's pretty popular with the after work crowd as it has light well into the night. Also, more people there during the winter than the summer.

The routes are mostly sport, but there are a few cracks. Natural protection could be tough, but the bolted routes are pretty close by and you can usually clip the bolts. Lots of easy TR access too. There's als... more >>

Comments: 5/27/06...The anchor on top of the first pitch as well as the bolts on the second pitch are GONE. The last bolt has a bail ring on it right now. You can run it out to the anchor on Living in Sin, but it would be a LONG run out. Be careful.

Comments: This is called "Ruins Crack" and is rated 5.11 in the Bloom guide. Great route with nice rests just where you need them.
