The Babe With Power
Jan 29, 2024 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Climbed with Jake & Brian. Beautiful warm and sunny crag with snow on the ground. Brian and I both fell at the moves between the 2nd and 3rd bolts. After that bouldery crux, the route was sustained 5.9 with a couple of 5.10 moves. Technical steep-slab climbing. It was a bit spicy/runout in at least a couple of spots. My toes were sore after this one. Not my favorite route because of the big change in difficulty / non-continuous nature of the climbing. That said the climbing on the upper slab was excellent.

Bomb Cyclone
Jan 28, 2024 · Lead / Flash. Climbed with Jake & Brian. Beautiful warm and sunny crag with snow on the ground. This route had some subtle/devious sequences that felt harder than the grade. It was quite sustained and a good test of skill. It felt good to get this one. Would do it again.

Uncontrived Mayhem
Jan 28, 2024 · Lead / Flash. Climbed with Jake & Brian. Beautiful warm and sunny crag with snow on the ground. Brian led and hung the draws. Everyone got up the route with no falls. Unique sequences through a rising rightward traverse, then sustained 5.9 climbing to the top. Challenging to clip on some of the traverse moves. Well worth doing again.

Restaurant At The End Of The Uni…
Jan 28, 2024 · Lead / Onsight. Climbed with Jake. There was snow on the initial ramp to the 1st bolt, but still easily doable. The route involves several open-handed flat sloper-pinches, and the feet are not as good as one might wish. I ended up stemming out left for some of the moves. It was mildly pumpy, and a great warm-up route.

Spinal Tap
Dec 17, 2023 · TR. Climbed with Brian. I top roped it a couple of times and spent some time working the harder moves from 1/2 height to the top. Hard climbing with some sequential beta with slopey or very small holds (1/2 pad or less) for much of the climb.
