Comments: Is the access really still a problem? We followed the directions to park at the top and walk down and it was pretty steep and overgrown which wouldn't have been a big problem really except we had a three year old with us and many of the steepest sections were pretty slippery. There were plenty of non-climbers down at the beach and we talked to a couple people and they all said they came in the other way so we walked down there to see what it was like when we were leaving and sure enough it was t... more >>

Comments: hard to say on this one, within the vicinity theres skimmer (V3) and sign of the choss (v4). this climb is surely harder than skimmer and definitely easier than choss..

Comments: it hasnt been crowded the times ive been.. and anytime im on top of north mountain i'll usually warm down with laps on this so ive been a few times already this season. also i usually leave my pad at the top and this makes the hike really nice.. the greasy-ness of the rock shouldnt distract most as its super jugs the whole way and when it thins out at the top the crimps still have alot of texture on them and your feet are still in jugs so yeah i just dont see how its considered greasy. of cou... more >>

Comments: never crowded. good rock quality. shady in the mornings and later in the evenings (this is during peak season)

walk up the virgin stairs to the suicide outlook. there is a gully up and to the left, follow this a ways up until your under a clean orangish wall. then scrabble up.

Comments: yeah im pretty sure it was a innocent misstake. there were 3 other routes with draws on them (slavery wall) and i was able to find out that there were 8 kids from the univ. of wyoming and that they had been gangbanging that route. 4 of them went down to the parking lot earlier than the others and im thinking maybe the 4 remaining thought they (the draws) belonged to someone in the 4 that went down. seems weird that theyd just steal my draws and not get the others. who knows? it doesnt even ... more >>

Comments: yeah sorry i know its not really a condition report, but i posted it like that for two reasons: 1) it will automatically delete itself and 2) it puts itself at the top.

i guess ill take it down and buy some new draws. ten sleep is the bomb cant wait til next summer!

Comments: sport climber here, who will be climbing in skaha for a couple weeks (july 16th- aug 1st) and was thinking about making a bug trip. the info page says i'll need things like crampons and an ice pick. is this true for july? also, can i get by on a small rack? set of nuts, hexes and a handful of cams from .5 - 2? i'm really looking to take it easy and gain some alpine/ multipitch trad experiance on things like kain route, north east ridge, mctech arete and the west ridge route. any informati... more >>
