Comments: The Safe Harbor mini guidebook lists this route as the leftmost route on the wall. I think the previous comment refers to Lost Boys. This middle route is significantly more difficult.

Comments: Falls (at least at the bolts) will likely result in a decking. Be careful.

Comments: Sewed up the route with 1 each of cams #2- #4 plus 3 tricams for the horizontals left and right of the offwidth. You don't need the really big stuff if you don't have it.

Comments: Williams guidebook indicates that there are 5 bolts to the anchors, but as MP route notes, there are only two.

Also, the location is 100 feet or so before the main lines of the Tan Wall as you're coming down the trail from the parking. Hard to see the bolts, but the trail is noticeable.

Comments: First tricky move is V2-V3. Placing a small cam (0.3) in the horizontal seam and/or a spotter can help mitigate potential falls.

Comments: Not sure about good pro - we found scant pro opportunities in the easy middle slabby section on P1. While unlikely, a groundfall was certainly possible from 50 - 60 feet up.

Comments: We just set an anchor from any one of the stout trees at the top.

Comments: As of 11/12/12, the top large roof block on Easily Flakey (move right before the anchors) is now loose (wiggles by hand about 0.5-1" horizontally). I did not notice till I hopped up and it swayed.

There are obvious cam placements in that block that should be avoided as well as pulling and standing on it. The block has been X'ed, but due to the frequency of climbing on the route, as well as its obvious nature for accessing the anchors (I figure avoiding it will make the move a 5.8), it seems li... more >>

Comments: Highball first bolt, but easier climbing to reach it.
