Comments: -Crescent crack buttress approach should stay the same. - Its always difficult to manage resources or future resources properly and I wonder if the efforts of those involved might be better allocated if rather than establishing new trail more emphasis was put into upgrading and maintaining the current ones. Ensuring the, novice, and new to the area, climbers can stay on the proper trails. Maybe even a small discrete sign highlighting junctions similar to what they have at Estes park - Lumpy ... more >>

Comments: Kaner - thank you for the how to get there directions - I can't begin to explain how frustrated I have been with this and many of the Gov. websites... so many people assume you're local. Some of these directions really need to start by mentioning a couple of the surrounding cities to help get one in the right vicinity of the state. 14ers.com is the worst at this.... Thanks again! Much appreciated. P.S. the Gov. website gave this info - from Colorado Highway 72 at Ward, turn west onto the B... more >>

Comments: @ Stan Pitcher & Dr. Dan - Unfortunately, I do know the vandals and am glad to report - they don't climb any more....More unfortunate, I found the missing holds while free soloing the route!! Made for an exciting day to say the least.

Comments: This is the reply I got. Thank you for taking the time to write. My office is aware of the recent town hall discussions related to development plans for Blue Diamond Hill. I understand and appreciate your concerns for the visual and other effects that development could have on the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Most of the land on Blue Diamond Hill is privately owned and is not under BLM’s jurisdiction. Development related to Blue Diamond Hill could come under BLM's jurisdictio... more >>

Comments: Two Thumbs Up for Moes - Lets all pull together, pick up some trash, and help manage these resources. Don't be afraid to "SPEAK OUT" when you see others whose actions may be jeopardizing the area - we can avoid being confrontational - just be informative.

Comments: I love this route - a little history to help w/ the route description though...when the route was originally bolted the first pitch was the easiest, including the roof, however around 2005 some climbers jumped on it after recent moisture had come through the area and key jugs were broken off of that roof. This significantly changed the route and made the first roof harder than the second. These changes make the climber go through the fist roof using specific holds with a sequence that isn't the... more >>

Comments: Good route, great for the leader who is just getting into the head games maybe. The route climbs very easy, huge holds all the way to the top with no real crux. The route definitely looks harder than it really is. The Anchors were placed well so that they can double for the anchors on top of E.B. Jeebies.

Comments: A bit deceiving, my partner and I took a look at this and thought oh we could run up this real quick to warm up on....yeah, it didn't work out like that! You get one rest in the middle of the route, but other than that the route is really consistent to the grade. We were confused on the start, the guide pic stays on the face, the route description says between the arete and the main crack. I tried it both and found them both to be about the same, maybe a touch more committing on the main face (s... more >>

Comments: ON ALL the climbing websites and to everyone I talk to, when asked what my favorite route is, I state it loud and clear - ORGANASM! - I've only climbed the first two pitches, we only free them, but it is the way to do it. First pitch is awkward and I'd say is 5.8+. Second pitch is clean and fun, you have a really good rest before the roof that will take as many 2's and 3's as you'd like to put in it. The crux is pulling out of the roof but with a perfect .75 placement in an adjacent crack to lo... more >>
