Comments: I second that Jimmy every word you said in your post is spot on. This route is superb giving the other 5.9 classics in the area a run for their money.

Comments: I recommend bringing at least 5-6 #2 Camelots. I have climbed this route a few times now the first and second pitch eats gold.

Comments: Climbed this route again today this route is a blast. Seriously this route has some of the coolest 5.9 climbing in the area. Also the route is south facing so it gets some sun a rarity for cold climbing in the maker / monster area.

Comments: Great Old School 5.7 climbing, so be solid at your grades. Rope drag can be a bitch = Extend your pro, or just don't protect the chimney like I did. Bring webbing for rap anchors on the E side of the spire.

Great Route defiantly worth giving it a go

Comments: 9 Bolts on this route so not run out at all. Its actually the most bolts ive clipped on any route in the park to date. And good protection up top in the really easy chimney 5.6 or so.

Comments: Don't be afraid of the final pitch even with its R rating its really not that scary. The R part is probably 5.7 for about 10 feet then you can plug in a number 3. Once you plug in your good gear you face the crux, a really really tight squeeze for 3 feet. the rest of the route has good gear and no real run-outs.

Comments: A very fine route with a heady second part after the flake. I would bring some webbing to replace the anchor slings if I remember right.

Comments: Great route realy fun crux. It felt 5.10 c ish but I just think that was because it was 35 degrees out when I climbed it.
