  May 10 - I climbed the E Buttress for the 5th time last summer but it was the first trip that was not car.
East Face 5.6
  May 10 - I have done the E Face 3 times now and by far prefer the E Buttress.

Aid solo with grigri at Stoney Point's Jesus Wall  This was taken in 1984 way above the Voices Wall. That year I would grab some of my Cross Country buddies and skip practice, drive up to Williamson and get as much climbing in before it got dark. I taught them how to do a hip belay and we went for it. Those were some fun times.   A picture of myself holding my fathers old piton hammer and my dad bouldering in the background. Picture was probably taken around 1978. Near the Leaning Pillar I believe.  whitney east buttress  Another route we did a few years back. Kind of a pain to get to byt fun climbing.
