Comments: Hey Sergey, your feedback on route heights will certainly help.

If you click the "Improve this Page" button, and enter a note with your own improved estimate, one of us will update it permanently, credit, and notify you in a short while.

Thanks.

Comments: I moved this one into the newer Sequoia National Park area from the High Sierra, since it fits better here now IMHO. If you disagree no prob, just let me know and I'll put it back.

Comments: Thanks for the list, Bryan, that made it easy for me to move the ones I was waffling on outside of the book.

I'll add a number and a dash in front of the Lower Merced areas so that they sort left to right alphabetically. This, or letter prefixes, is a workaround several admins use for these linear places.

Comments: When areas on Mountain Project start overflowing off the page, I look for ways to group them that are less overwhelming, for both first time and many time visitors.

The Reid guide to the Yosemite grouped crags in Lower Merced, and then some other groupings within the Valley itself. I found it easier to follow this way.

If our Yosemite climbers' consensus is that it the areas I moved here today work better in the main Yosemite Valley section, I'm glad to move them back.

Thoughts? Opinions?

Comments: Correction: although the Access fund conservation team has a scheduled visit involved Donner Summit, the Adopt A Crag has moved since this event was posted here.

The actual May 9, 2015 Adopt A Crag is at the Lover's Leap campground on the south end of the Tahoe Region, on route 50 near Strawberry Station.

Hope to see some of you there,
Justin J. (a CRAGSter)

Comments: Karl and Benson, FYI what you're seeing is a technical requirement of Mountain Project routes. The submitter is prompted to choose a star rating before saving it.

On the other hand, a route that pushes the limits of worldwide climbing difficulty in this way will certainly be considered classic, at least for the first decade or two (ha).

Comments: Hey Benjamin, I reorganized the Hospital Rock area a bit to incorporate another user's suggestions. By moving routes to subpages, now Mountain Project's architecture allows other wall pages to be created, allowing GPS info for farther off walls to be added. Drop me a note if I can help further with this, or if I really wrecked anything.

Comments: Hey, I think I mistakenly moved this into the Central Sierra earlier, but after looking at some guidebooks I see it's probably considered an Eastside area since it's right on 395. Let me know if it fits somewhere else better organizationally!

Comments: That's a weird spot. The slab at the start of the boulder problem is steeper than it looks in the photo - plus it often has a bit of dirt and gravel on top - and a pad might slide downhill at the wrong moment.

Comments: Cottrell calls this one 5.10+. Though 6' 0" tall, I tend to agree, since I can generally work out 5.10a to 5.10b routes more quickly than this one.

Comments: Hey Tom, that was the beta me and my friends used to climb there when I was still living in Pennsylvania! If you're down to have the same content here, I'm glad to help. I guess whomever gets the urge first can move things here, and if it ends up being me, I can transfer them to your ownership with my admin superpower (ha) so you'll still have credit (and advanced editing powers yourself) for your content when it's reproduced here.
