Comments: Super fun route combining technique/ power/ and balance - use the same anchors as 'Flakes'

Comments: Fun route! Linked pitches 2-3, but should have linked 2-4 as there would have been plenty of rope and it would have saved some time at the belays. Went right at roof on pitch two and up the finger crack with a couple crux moves...didn't see any pin on this variation...
Also, tried to link 5-6 all the way up to the rap tree but came up 8 feet short on a 60m rope! Bummer! Had to build an anchor 8 feet below tree...I'd read you can link those two pitches but it must be with a 70m rope.
Super fu... more >>

Comments: I thought this was a great route until I reached the bolt just below the last piton...super heady climbing above and super run-out...about 20 feet to the piton on smears which could lead to a 40 footer if you go south...I climbed up and then down climbed this section about 4 times before bailing on a biner i left...call me a pussy but it wasn't worth breaking some bones and getting cheese grated for...the ground up bolting ethic is insane and i give lots of credit to these animals for getting it... more >>

Comments: Did 'Kor-Ingalls' 6/9/09...never climbed anything like it! The off-widths would have been fine had there been no calcite, but the slippery-ness made it ruthless...tough to get good gear placements on the calcite as the cams were sliding around and not very sound...used a #4 big bro on pitch three that was essential for us. Thought the 5.9 grade was pretty damn sandbagged, but i'm not an experienced off-width climber so it may be dead on. This route is definately full value and no pitche... more >>

Comments: Nice Michael, do you know if any new routes have been put up since that mag. was published? If not, and you want to send me the beta I'd be happy to put in on Mountain Project, or if you feel so inclined to do so yourself, have at it!

I picked up the Western Slope guide today and saw you in there, nice work and thanks for all the goodness! I'm heading to Lime Creek for a couple days this week, never been but looking forward to it

Comments: Looks like a massive waterfall flowing over the top of the punch bowl right now - the mist alone has everything in the area soaked! What's the area before the punchbowl on the left on the east road? Has quite a few decent looking routes and also has a little hobbit hole/ cave at the bottom that's currently filled with water.

Comments: Anybody have beta for the crag on Homestake Rd. (between Red Cliff and Camp Hale) .25 miles over the bridge on the right? About 8-9 solid sport routes there, would like to add them to this site but need some more info on them. Good quality and fun stuff!
