WORST FOOTHOLD EVER! This moth must have been about 2" long, and I very nearly squashed it going for the stem move. (Maybe you've seen the "worst foothold ever" picture of a giant millipede in the much maligned 2008 Orenszak Gunks climbing guide?)  Anduril is the third climb from the right (black line) of Middle Earth's Lower Canyon.  Eggshell, as seen on 5/16/2009. I think the fallen tree makes it impossible to climb properly... Photo by Konstantin S.  Rebecca Manley finishing up the lead of Suzie's Wild Ride, just as the sun starts to spill over the crag at noon. Time to find shelter...  Rebecca Manley working the slightly awkward move onto the face half way up Suzie's Wild Ride.
