Comments: The anchor at the start of pitch 4 now has new bolts. They were replaced just a few days after my previous comment. Thanks Otto and partner.

Comments: Hi Geoff,

I'm guessing about 100 feet or less, and a little uphill.

I TRed another route just right of The Lawn Rake that follows some face holds leading to a seam in a left-facing shallow corner. Thin 5.10-5.11 moves. It needed some more cleaning at the top though. Next time I visit, I'll see about finishing it off.

Comments: Thanks for the heads-up Jessica.

This apparent increase in the shedding of rocks is troublesome. I hope it stops before someone gets hurt.

I never did feel good being under Orc Tower.

Comments: Avoid using the left edge and the large pocket-edge directly below the nose.

Perhaps the easiest of the three routes on this face.

Comments: Avoid using the right edge and the large pocket-edge directly below the nose.

Hardest parts are at the bottom and right next to the nose.

Comments: About P3, I think there are two ways to do it. The harder rating applies to the way in which you stay left of the arete.

Comments: Nice reflection, great photo.
At first, I didn't realize there were rocks in the water, and was trying to figure out what was going on with the reflection.

Comments: I did it long ago, but went back this summer and couldn't even TR the techy part just below the roof. It's definitely a challenging route I'll be back for.

Comments: My partner and I thought the crux was moving from the gold flake into the corner. The layback moves up to the anchor are more insecure, but seemed easier.

Yet the guidebook shows the lower move off the gold flake as just 5.10. Were we doing it wrong? What do others think?

Comments: This first bolt seems to be in an awkward spot. Climbing directly up to it is sketchy, with a bit of a groundfall. It is slightly easier climbing up to the right of it, but this part hasn't been cleaned, and it puts one in a stretchy position to clip.

I guess you need to be pretty good to even try it!

Comments: Bizarre rock formation. How solid is it?

Also, where is the location of the route?
