Comments: It can be done in one pitch with a 60 m rope. We did it today.

Comments: Thanks for posting this area

I've heard several other names for climbs in this area, like "Scottish Gully" and "Jaws." Perhaps MP is a great place to have some consensus, or compendium, of names for the various climbs here.

Comments: We replaced the rope-side biner on the 2nd draw a couple days ago. It was well worn and wicked sharp. Amazing how fast this can happen, considering the lower biners were reported as fine a couple weeks ago.

Comments: Some more basic beta: There are two fixed anchors with slings at the top of the second pitch, both on the left. The first is almost immediately after the last bit of the chimney. The next one is about 25 feet higher and has a nice ledge to stand on. Both keep you mostly out of ice fall danger.

We brought a single set of cams from 0 metolious to #3.5 camalot, plus some nuts. Blue cam works well under roof/chockstone at the top.

Wicked sweet climb!

Comments: My first lead fall, caught by my brother when he was about 13 yrs old. His first catch of a lead fall, the whipper totally surprised both him and me. A muggy day, my hands popped out, and I went soaring, lifting him right up off the ground till we collided softly in the air. There we were, dangling, wide-eyed and right next to each other.

Comments: Sweet! you can check it of the bucket list. That is super gutsy to sit way out there. The way the diving board slants down and to the side gave me the heebie jeebies, and I didn't have the cojones to crawl out there.
