Comments: Great wall with all established climbs being worthy. Still a lot of lichen, especially in the crack, but will easily clean up with a little traffic. Great job!

Comments: The Western Colorado Climbers' Coalition will be having a trail day a Dynamite Shacks on Saturday, July 28th. We plan on cleaning up, trail building, and doing some erosion control. We will supply a grill and some items to cook up for volunteers. People are encouraged to bring a dish to share as well. We will begin at 4:00 PM. Please bring plenty of water, gloves, and any trail building tools you might have. There will be some goodies there to give out to volunteers provided by the Access Fund, ... more >>

Comments: I agree with Nick's comments and assure you that he is aware of and respects the nebulous history of bouldering out there. I do not think secrecy is a sustainable, long-term plan for protecting resources be it camping or climbing. I think that perhaps the argument of secrecy is at heart derived from a more selfish goal of keeping a location, area, boulder, etc. to yourself and/or your group of cronies. Comments: You can either do a second pitch or just do one long pitch and get to a second pair of anchors high in the crack system. A good crack on some good rock makes a nice long pitch!
