Comments: If cleaned after spring thaw, it stays good until a large rain event or the winter. You should get on the Bachelor Party Beagle.

Comments: If anyone happens to disagree with my replacing bad anchors (and in this case at the top of a bolted sport route) please speak to me and we can discuss. It seems sad that someone is defacing publicly funded hardware and stealing.

Comments: So someone chopped the ASCA hangers and bolts I put in there to replace the tat and slung boulder? Quite lame! I would like any further information about this if anyone has it! This has to of happened in the last 3-4 months. The rap bolts/rings are clearly stamped ASCA if anyone happens to see them.

Comments: We always did a deadpoint from the crimps to the large jug on the right, matched, then moved up the rail to the finish. I guess dyno'ing just makes for more radness! The right side of the Falcon goes, but as you move further out the lip, the rock becomes suspect. We moved until the rock deteriorated and mantled up.

Comments: Old Stardryves were found on top of this pillar. New anchors have been added on the wall for a better pull courtesy of the ASCA.

Comments: "Both the bolts were spinner and suspect. If you do this climb, bring a wrench or a cam to back up the anchor, #1 BD I think. It is ok for a quick warmup. " One bolt was older and a spinner, the other was a new and just needed tightening. The old bolt has been replaced.

Comments: I agree with Nick's comments and assure you that he is aware of and respects the nebulous history of bouldering out there. I do not think secrecy is a sustainable, long-term plan for protecting resources be it camping or climbing. I think that perhaps the argument of secrecy is at heart derived from a more selfish goal of keeping a location, area, boulder, etc. to yourself and/or your group of cronies. Perhaps secrecy may delay an influx of people, but I doubt that any amount of online spraying ... more >>
