Comments: walked a # 4 camalot up this crack. A little awkward, but worth climbing if only to get to the upper crack.

Comments: This area is littered with beer cans- if you are going to hike up there bring a garbage bag to pack out the cans.

This area was dry and climbable after a full day of rain.

please protect trees if top roping, a pad of carpet between your slings and the tree.

Comments: - There is very little protection on this climb. many nice exposed moves on a beautiful little rock. I bailed and did "can-can".

Comments: i got the top and the my second was coming up. the tower starts to wiggle....i think...i'll jump into those trees if this thing falls...that will help break my fall. And then i realize....i'm anchored into the top of the needle...and if it goes, i'm going with it.

much like the gendarme at seneca, climbing this thing is a must and a exercise in faith.

Comments: I would climb this route every day for the rest of my life. Absolutely essential climb at this grade in the south east. Tons of fun, easy to protect and the view is great.

Comments: Grand ledge is really a special place. It is a good spot to see the impact climbers can have- both positive and negative.

many michigan climbers have stopped going to the ledges because of the negative impact- but there are a few short quality routes there.

- please please pad your anchors to reduce erosion and impact on the sandstone.

Comments: I found this park to be a great place to boulder. I thought the stone had a lot in common with seneca rocks.

You can find lots of places to be by your self and have quiet climb. No need for chalk- leave no trace and access will be less of a problem i think.

Comments: We don't have a lot of rock- but we do have some good buildering.

I encourage folks to post some of those sites up.
