Comments: Yo admins, why were my comments about this climb removed?! The Cascade Creek discussion prompted me to look back at some of the prior comments I made after doing most of the Tonnere Tower climbs, but they are all gone! I simply don't understand, are only glowing reviews of this climb acceptable?

FWIW, I climbed this specific route and found that the overwhelming number of bolts, especially those on the third pitch next to the crack in the corner, to greatly detract from the climb and the over... more >>

Comments: Please disregard my anchor moving comment from years ago. Newbie silliness.

Comments: Ooo Jared, don't know if I'd agree with you there. There's quite a few really high-quality climbs right around Scarface (Black Uhuru, Where's Carruthers, Wavy Gravy, etc.). I'd submit them, but I'm too much of a wuss to lead them and I won't submit routes I haven't led.

Comments: I'd suggest going with the recommended rack at the top. The size most of the way is bad for both .75 and 1 Camalots - #2 Friends are key.

I'd also agree with Mike - jam this sucker. It's great practice for the size and other climbs where laying back is not an option.

Comments: The junk at the top actually looked pretty dangerous so we lowered off before it on a nut and couple tricams - which I'm sure disappeared on the next ascent. The rest of the route is great though. Perhaps someone knows who put it up and could get permission to lower the anchor?!
