Comments: You don't have to be a yetti to hit the jug on top. It is possible to double undercling in the seam and do this move static.

Comments: lees mantle is probably that crack that we used to climb with curt love in that warmup corridor behind the lily pad. It was a contrived line that started in the crack and went out right on slopers to a hard mantle v3 or 4ish

Comments: It is a little f'd , I think it could maybe have some bolts moved around and it would be nice to check out the old anchors again, it really sucks clipping the new ones mid crux and its kinda scary going above. I agree with Greg about the old sequence going to the anchors being pretty classic, you almost feel like you cheated clipping those new anchors. I think I might be able to get the Canyon Custodian up there today, we'll see what he thinks.

Comments: I broke the left hand crux hold a couple of weeks ago when I stepped on it. It was a four finger two pad slopey crimp (jug), it is now a three finger quarter pad crimp which makes the clip pretty hard and the crux throw quite a bit harder. Cronin rebolted this thing a couple years ago it used to have ten bolts it now has five. Trying to skip the crux bolt now would be insane, you might as well solo the first half of the route. The anchors have also been dropped a few feet( the old anchors were i... more >>

Comments: It looks like everyone is bailing out right after the first move which is like a v2 variation I think Loosening The Lid's beta is to match the second hold and throw out left to a hold on the arete and finish on bad holds (crux) or better yet after matching the second hold go left even more so your right hand is on the arete and your left hand is way out left on a slick crystal edge for The Big Squeeze.

Comments: Im not sure what waaaahbag is talking about with the scary and potentially dangerous fall maybe he was off route a lot of people have taken the ride up there and it is spicy but still safe. I heard waaaaahbag is not scared to go off route to avoid cruxes so it doesn't surprise me that he climbs with body armor he really must not want to have to take a ride in a waaahmbulance.

Comments: Mcneill, if you forgot your rack of nuts there's still plenty of climbing in cronin's crack all you need is about a dozen draws to clip all the pounded in pitons
