Another contemplative moment for me on Resolution Arete, a climb which turned out to have more self exploration than physical climbing for us. Photo by Tom Gray.

The splitter 5.10b offwidth variation to pitch 7. Isn't it beautiful? I'm a sucker for offwidths... Too bad the #5 I lugged up there wouldn't do anything for me.

Nearing the top of the 5.10 pitch. It has eased off to about 5.8 at this point. You can see the 5.7 slab traverse just near the edge of the photo.

Me standing on the Summit of Tellot Spire One in the Waddington Range. The granite was amazing, the climbing good, and the position unsurpassable. Following this was a 200' free-hanging rappel down the Central Dihedral. Photo by Tom Gray.

Myself and Seth Hobby approaching the base of Tellot Spire One. Our route followed the left-facing dihedral on the left side of the face, then up a beautiful corner/crack system and up a chimney at about 3/4 height. Our ascent appears to be a first-ascent variation of the Fabische-Waters route, and went at 5.9 A1.

Seth makes the long and insecure snow traverse to gain the harder water ice in the center of the couloir. The ice went at WI3 and was sustained at about 70 degrees.
