Comments: Spent the last 2 weekends on the East side of the pass climbing, and wow what great granite. I have uploaded some pics of some new boulders not found in the 40 Minute from Leadville site.

Comments: My partner Jay and I have climbed out at Lion's Head last year and hiked in from the Elk Falls trail from the entrance of the park. We did 2 lines up the northern flank. Both were around 5.10ish, all gear routes. There are some amazing features on the southern flank and near the far north end.

Comments: I will agree with all responses to the Rotwand. I have been slowly ticking off the Rotwand routes and have chosen to do them as solos,, because who knows if the gear will hold. I just finished Most Honorable HoseBags and Forgotten History and both routes were fun and engaging for sure. Tons of loose rock and everything is suspect.

Comments: My friends were thrown off the property on Friday by the new landowner. He called the police and is posting no trespassing signs all over. Apparantly, he is totally uncool with all of us. We spoke with him and he said the trail will be closed and there are no sure about future access. My buddy fom Flagstaff almost got an onsight of the Sphinx. He took 2 hangs.
