Otherwise they may have been injured or worse trying to get off the route. Congratulations to whoever chopped the anchor. I know how important it was to keep this 5.6 route "pure." That way a visiting 5.6 leader can get really hosed if they dare to climb the route outside the presence of a needles regular. Because if that is what you are referring to, your comment would apply to most climbs. Unlike you Joel, I appreciate it when someone invests their own time, money, risk, knowledge and creativity to install an anchor that enables me to get down from a climb safely. What is it about this anchor that you object to Joel?
