Comments: Easy fun off-width. Great for someone just getting into crack/off-width since there are plenty of hands and feet to fall back on if you're still practicing your crack skills.

To top-rope: Easy scramble up the left side of the formation to the back and onto the top. You can use old rap anchors to lock yourself off, then set up a top-rope on the chain anchors for the climb.

Comments: If granite makes you salivate then this will satisfy. If granite makes you want to quit rock climbing and take up crocheting instead, then avoid this one.

Comments: The last 30 feet of this good looking trad route is made up of some seriously loose rock. It looks a bit like some kind of jenga puzzle ready to avalanche at the slightest touch. If considering this route, you can hop right to Anne of a Thousand Days anytime it gets too loose for comfort.

Comments: This is sort of a print and go kind of beta photo (for those who like to do that sort of thing - like me). I didn't bother adding in the other climbs on the wall, because they are very obvious and easy to find once you are there.

Comments: The rest of the thread contains great info. If you are planning to climb this - I recommend reading it all. Here are few updates and additional beta for the route:

• The top of ALL pitches now have great new solid anchors.
• The anchors at the top of pitch 3 are on the south-west side of the large bolder at the top of the chimney (they are very hard to find if you don't know this)
• Bring a large cam for pitch 4. I didn't have one big enough, but wished I did. Pitch 4 is the shortest pitch (9... more >>
