Comments: I pulled on it a few years back, its in there pretty good. I did put a giant skull&crossbones on it with chalk just to scare people away from gangbanging it on TR

Comments: I've hiked the trails looking for more, found a bunch of steep highballs but nothing too tempting. there is more rock along the power lines and towards the river that looks like it could be worth the hike.

Comments: bring cams for the horizontal, anything from a #1 camalot to a #3 fits well for the crux, big stoppers work too.

Comments: Just paint some pretend bolts on the face and do some make believe clipping. Nobody chops paintjobs in CT.

Comments: best to stick clip the first bolt and not use gear. I believe this route still has padlocks on the bolts, it is easy to clip underneath them.

Comments: Those Killingworth climbers are sandbaggers and they dont even know it. That of course is why Mtn Proj is so nice, everyone can rate the climb and it averages the ratings. You might only be the 2nd or 3rd person to try these so after a while the ratings change. look at Subline (10d) at the main cliff for example, I believe the Mtn Proj rating is around 11b or so.

Comments: I dont remember seeing any pitons while I trembled my way up this route. 5.9R scary, needs a couple of bolts. The crack down at the bottom(Yvette) is sweet and can be done as a short pitch by itself.
