Location: CT : Connecticut Bouldering : Woodbridge Land Trust, Park... : Frankenrock : Project (V-easy) : Photo By: Eric Wiessinger When: Oct 24, 2012 | view comment >> | Comments: Assuming I'm doing this per the OP this definitely goes. I've done it from a stand-start but the couple of variations on the sit-start are hard and/or sharp. I've attached a photo with some markup showing the stand-start holds I used. Pretty cool compression moves in the middle!

Location: CT : Connecticut Bouldering : Woodbridge Land Trust, Park... : Frankenrock : Frankenstein's Lab (V6-7) By: Eric Wiessinger When: Oct 1, 2012 | view comment >> | Comments: If I'm reading the original beta and the start of Frankenstein's lab correctly there is a cool eliminate to this route as well. Start as indicated but traverse low, avoiding the upper crimps and using only a large obvious sidepull (underneath the start to Frankenstein's Lab) and slopey pinch, then make a large right-hand move to the incut shown in the stand-start image for the Frankenstein's lab beta. This variation removes some of the good holds and makes moving up into the topout much harder.

The woods is beautiful, the rock is nice (though a bit sharp) and the quality of lines is really pretty decent with a good range of difficulty. This report has some very good details & decent photos of the area but it seems to be missing a few relevant problems. I'll try t... more >>
