Comments: Fun climb, short, but fun, looks easier than it is, it doesn't let up for all 4 bolts.

Comments: There were a couple 'biners hanging from the chains on this climb, one was worn half way through, they have been removed.

Comments: Oh and on a side note the left anchor is loose....do what you will with that, still worth it.

Comments: Fun climb on great rock that is nowhere near as polished as SE proper, I gave it 5.10c, maybe I was tired, but there's a 5.10a and 5.11a just to the left of this climb that both seem easier. The roof is rad and super positive, but once you pull the roof there's a transfer that is harder than anything on Pearl Necklace or Unholy, unless you are my 6'2" 150 pound partner.

Comments: Great climb, great solid rock for scorched earth, and I agree with the commenter above me about it being baffling, but I wouldn't rate it harder than 10a. Ryan and Jesse come back to Big Sky!!!! :)

Comments: The only reason I would even call it 5.9 is the start and the length. Fun warm up, slightly dirty (i think every time it rains it gets dirty again).

Comments: Don't take the eroded crappy braid of trails straight up towards the cave, follow the elkhorn trail up river approximately 200 ft, then hang a left uphill into the woods, and shortly another left back towards the cliff. Way less eroded, way easier walking.

Comments: Fun climb, deceivingly easy crux at the top, I mean its hard and fun, but it's not as hard as it first seems. guidebook calls it 5.9 and i would have to agree. also we always have called it the cave #1, and there is a cave #2 now.

Comments: This climb is 5.8, sort of hard start for 5.8, but 5.8 none the less according to the guide book.

Comments: I believe the campground is open now, and the climbing never was off limits due to the construction just had to walk furthur.

Comments: To be honest, this whole area is some fun climbing, but the access issues are kind of ridiculous. If some land owner is going to be this much of a pain that I can go but my dog can't, or the guide book says to go the old way but maybe they are feeling nice on alternate thursdays and letting us go the short way. What a mess. I guess I will just have to steer clear until somebody who is sane owns the land.
