Comments: It took us ~20 min to get to River Wall at a leisurely pace, and then another ~40 min to get to Dark Side Dome from River Wall - so an hour approach, not 30 min. 5 star hike!

Comments: This is a Yosemite 5.7, so be prepared to be worked! The approach took one hour at a leisurely pace. We went right of the Ivory Tower crag (some bushwack), but you can also zig zag up the slabs. Awesome views - great morning in Tuolumne without the run out! I took two #4, and a #5 and used them all. Also do Olga (5.8) while you are there - good pro, and you can bypass the runout 5.7 chimney on lead.

Comments: We climbed P1 and rapped off with 2 60's. The bottom half of the 160' pitch is easy and fun. The 5.9 move over the left facing horn is not bad, and protects with a bomber .75. There is ~15 ft of runout after that move, you get a small cam, then on to easier territory that protects with small gear. The pitch finishes with a spicy 5.9 face move that is well protected by a bolt. Great 1 pitch option on Stately Pleasure!

Comments: P1 has a 5.8 variation start (see Reid book). It follows the right facing corner up to a 2 bolt anchor/rap station. The pitch requires small gear (000, 00, 0, C3's) - I always feel like I'm going to peel, but have not taken the slide yet! You can then link up P2 of the flake and rap off - nice 2 pitch warm up or cool down...

Comments: Great intro into Tuolumne runout face climbing. Also do Scandalous Summer on the left side of the dome. Dozier Dome rocks! A big thanks to the FA teams!

Comments: this is one of my favorite climbs at Snowshed. The bottom 2/3 warms you up with interesting 5.7-5.8 block moves, then awesome jams and liebacks on good feet and great gear - love it!
