Comments: On 10/18/14, we trundled the 80 pound, wobbling block under the low roof.

Comments: My friend inadvertently pulled a 25 pound block off near the top this weekend. It didn't change the grade.

Comments: This is the original route up the arete. 5.9+ is a sandbag too, more like mid to upper .10. Lichen No Other should be deleted from the route database as a duplicate.

Comments: Did some crystals break off? I thought the upper section was extremely reachy and difficult for 5.11. IMO probably 5.11d or 5.12a for anyone under 6 feet tall.

Comments: I didn't stem and thought the section above the first bolt was 5.8+. Kudos to the old schoolers climbing that with 2 bolts. I was thoroughly spooked until I got to the second (current) bolt. Take a .75 Camalot for the horizontal crack down low if you want piece of mind.

A 70 meter rope reaches the ground with just a few feet to spare.
