Comments: From the road, it looks fat and blue with extra tiers of ice below the usual start. Note, it does face south.

Comments: FYI: the trail, as of 10/29/5, is dry to treeline, snow builds up after the cutoff to Storm Pass, and is 2ft deep off the trail above Peacock Pool. Peacock Pool has open water, there are a few dribbles of ice near the pool. From a distance, ice on the Lower East Face looks below average.

Anyone ever done any ice along the Fall River Rd past the gate? There are at least 3 lines up there. 1 across the valley, big, wide, blue, blue, blue - looks at least a rope length. 2 are a short way (0.5-0.75mi) past the falls on the sunny side up a couple drainages. Steep in parts. May go to the ridge? Currently a bit rotted out. Short of the spires on Chapin? Spied them skiing up the road. Deb

Comments: Lost a lot during last week's warmup. Perhaps 1/3 the ice. Maybe it'll thicken up. Minimal ice in the chimneys up the valley during a ski recon.

Comments: Conditions are lean. Skylight area had Slippery When Wet still in but leaner than last week according to folks there. Chockstone Chimney was running with water. The Ribbon had 2 parties on it. Ice park was lean below the bridges with even the Scottish Gully having a rock start.
