Comments: I found this very hard. I OS'ed Jump For Joy and easily RP Haley's Comet after a slip, but the start of this shut me down. I was attempting it straight on and pulling super hard. In retrospect the only way I can conceive of doing it at a 10 grade would be tip toeing up the left edges and features to a right high step smear, gaining high right layback edge w/right hand with left palming down or using left edges for balance.

Comments: There are 2 new bolts, one in second dish and one in third, above right. Original 1/4 bolt in first dish not yet replaced, so climb in from left on good rounded holds (no pro) unless you want to run it out on 5.9.

Comments: Great climb that needs more ascents. Leaves, dirt collect in the crack detracting somewhat from the climbing. I thought the crux was pretty powerful over the bulge w/funky pin scar layback and smears for feet. Freaked out and hung and then pulled moves once I'd settled down. It's all there and pro is good. There is a pin and new bolt above the roof plus placements, but still heads up climbing after crux proper.

Comments: Climbed Chockstone and Xanadu today w/ my friend Patrick. I first led these climbs back in 2002 climbing w/ Thad Eggen and other Estes friends. Coming back 10 years later, I was forcefully reminded of how engaging and psychological climbing in Eldo is.

Comments: Great route, would be 3 stars if longer. Easier than the other old school 9+'s and 10a I've done in BoCan this spring, so 5.9.
