Comments: Went out to the Quarry today to pull down my fixed line, and found that some of the fixed gear had disappeared on the Bolt Ladder.

I'm glad people are trying the route, but please leave any carabiners or quick links that have been left there on the route. They're there for a reason. The route is still a project and continually sees work. That gear is there to aid in the project.

Also, the end of the fixed line was tied off to the 4th bolt so as to not be damaged or used by any hikers or childr... more >>

Comments: Low snowpack at the top of the route made for a very interesting solo. Lots of exposed ground/rock forced me to frontpoint and even drytool when I was able to find features stable enough to pull on. The lower 3/4 of the route was extremely fun though, good snow until the final 50ft or so. Going to wait for a bit more snow before I attempt to repeat the route. Definitely an "X" safety rating in these conditions, it did look like there were possibilities to protect however in the rock on the sides... more >>

Comments: Thanks for posting, looks amazing!

Is the mountain you listed as "Mt Asgard" known by any other name?

I was initially confusing it with Mt Asgard (6,611') along with Mt Thor (5.495') in Auyuittuq National Park, on the Cumberland Peninsula of Baffin Island, Nunavut, Canada.

Both are magnificent peaks as well that I hope to soon add trip reports for.

Comments: You would expect to find this route on a much more spectacular formation than the Manure Pile. Although, the route is spectacular with great protection.

Comments: Nice line, right up the obvious dike on the dome. Bolts are spaced a bit far apart on the faces. Last pitch is the best.

Comments: Very easy climbing, great exposure and views though. Most of the route can be simulclimbed. Only 2 or 3 somewhat technical pitches near the summit.

Comments: P1 and 2 are the money pitches. Gets kinda slabby after that, but still fun.
