Comments: This place was a bolted chosspile at best when it was equipped. I led all the routes there when it was possible, and even rapped the lines to the right of the 12 and never felt compelled to come back. The rock is hallow and would not be safe to put bolts in in the pink section. Plus routes would be contrived as there are easier exits.

Much higher quality routes can be found at Crow Hill, some at a very high standard 12c, 13a, 13r/x all trad.

Comments: It seems pretty unnecessary to bolt this line. Its very short, has two moves, and is easily top roped. Not worth the time and money, IMO.

Comments: this is more of a bummer for the natural arete problem, which was very classic pure line. petes traverse is a many times broken eliminate "classic" from yesteryear. the jug starthold is on my bookcase, and i have broken feet on it three separate times.

Comments: There is a steep wall with a project that Jamie, Matt, and Marc have put some work into. I think all the moves have gone, with and without the shelf to the left.

Comments: There are now two tree stands within immediate range of the Lost Boulder. These folks most likely installed the cable across the river. Be extremely cautious when approaching, wear your day glow orange, and maintain a verbal presence, and do not go alone if you can avoid it. If you meet hunters please be polite, explain our use of the area, and try to get a sense of what days might be best to avoid each other.

Comments: Nope, on the RI side there is a dirt lot on the left across from the beach before you cross the pond on 165. Follow the trail south along the water. This area is pretty rustic, have fun.

Comments: Not as fun as it was after the initial break. But, one can still enjoy the clutch sit into new dimension.

Comments: The problem was over graded at v7 prior to its original break. It was probably v6, no harder than the sit that moves left into the axe head. After the first break a few years ago, using the broken gaston probably made it v7, although the toe hook beta has always been there which if it works for you supposedly does not feel hard. with the most recent break, the toe hook beta now becomes the path of least resistance, so that beta should garner the grade, whatever the consensus on that beta is, but... more >>

Comments: Grady, solid sends. The Problem you did on the Tombstone boulder is actually yet another variation of The Executioner. As far as I am aware, it may have first been done by Brandon Gonsalves, and be called something to the effect of Brandons Back Breaker after a brutal back flab a friend took while trying the problem. POD exits hard left through the roof after the first left hand move, and involves a hard lockoff to a gaston w a thumb catch, then a hard driveby move to jugs and a piss easy top ou... more >>

Comments: Man, after over ten years of trying this route from time to time the one pad butt on the ground sit still feels on the moon, and i'm feeling in good shape of late. That's why I passed off the Fa to mike, because I could not add the one move to the low squat I had done. Joe, we are similar in height, what was your send beta?

Comments: Ok Jeff, park in the lot that you would for deception at the end of long pond. Instead of taking either branch of the yellow dot, walk across the lot and look down a steep hill with some smallish boulders and a little junk. Across the stream are a few blocs hiding in rhodedendrons. No more than 100 yds from the car.

Comments: The Clamshell and Forgotten Boulder set are surrounded by no trespassing signs. Although the property demarcation lines on the available maps indicated the property line is some 60 yards past the boulders at a small stream, maintaining a low profile is recommended.
