JT can get wintry as hell. Trip with DL Dec. 2009.  Hanging out on the Shadow at Suicide. Trip with Bennett Mike and Rachel.  Wandering through the woods behind Holcomb Valley Pinnacles  View from the Maple Creek => Bedford Peak trail (Silverado Cyn, CA). Love that smog.  JT has other stuff besides rocks. It also has spiky plants that stubbornly flower even though they are growing in bone-dry gravel.
