Comments: Nice! We used to call this giant "The Deathstar"... If I can remember correctly there is a pretty nice problem on the south face from a sit on the east arete. Also, some decent problems up the east face with the chopped bolts... I think you are on one in this pic.

Comments: Sit start from the lowest left flake/jug/knob... Mantle the lip and jump down unless you love super chossy highballs. Probably V2-ish.

Comments: The only way this thing is V3 is if you climb to the lip and downclimb back to the starting pockets.... And thats from the far left pockets! We have always referred to it as "Peanut Boulder" and there is another sweet problem that climbs some solid patina flakes on the trail to Peanut/Pocket Rocket boulder.

Comments: If it is the boulder I am thinking of, then it looks like a igloo and I have always referred to it as such. I have bouldered around the area for years and have done pretty much every problem on the boulder. Every problem is quality for the area. Going off of memory from the giant slab and working clockwise is as follows: 1. Battle of the Bulge V0 - Slab to big flat edge to top 2. Downclimb VB - Southeast arete 3. ??? V0 - Small face to right of arete on small edges 4. ??? V1 - ... more >>
