Comments: Last time I was in this area, there was a serious hobo dwelling indeed!

Comments: We've played around on that, fun hard alternative to the standard Falcon. Have you tried the arete on the far right side of the Falcon Boulder? We couldn't stick it, but it felt doable.

Comments: While this may have never been named before, it surely has been climbed before, so it's hard to claim this as a FA. We used to climb all sorts of routes on this boulder years ago, including this one, I'm pretty sure. Good to have some additions in the easy/moderate level, however.

Comments: @ Bryan Gall: Thanks for all of the work you have done up there at the Tent. Do you mind others posting the routes here on Mountain Project to get the word out about what is up there?

Comments: I rescind my earlier comments about the bolts on this route. I later discovered that we were not on Puppy Love as I thought, but on She-La the Peeler to the right of Slab Route. So many lines, it is easy to get mixed-up if you are new to the area! I apologize for my confusion.

Comments: I am really shocked if people are actually TR-ing off the chains. Not only is that bad for the fixed gear, but it can't be very good for your rope either. It's probably better to rap, though, rather than lower, if that is the real problem.

Comments: The bolts are fine on this. You wont need any gear. Maybe somebody retro-bolted? I didn't find this runnout at all

Comments: In case anybody is wondering about this new raptor closure, here is a link to the page on the National Park Service website that talks about it. According to the map on this page the closure shouldn't include this route or any of the others in the immediate area.

Comments: I'm not sure which rock you guys are talking about. I was there this weekend, and all the rocks in this photo seem to still be there. I wasn't looking for that while I was there, but the rocks in my photos seem to match this one perfectly.

Comments: You should be careful at the top of this one. Some of the big hollow flakes seem like they are about ready to break off, which could be dangerous for your belayer. They seem to have gotten worse since the first time I came here.

Comments: We climbed a bunch of these routes. I just didnt find the supposed 5.10 in the middle to be that hard. My projection was 5.8+. Then I thought some of the 5.4s and 5.5s seemed a little harder, more like 5.6. I dont know, but that 5.10 sure felt easy. The guidebook we had called it 5.9, that seems more accurate to me.

Comments: This route is really fun. Good class 3 scrambling. The final couple hundred feet are easy and solid with some exposure. When we did the climb, ice in the crux gully made it more like class 4. Highly enjoyable route to a great summit. The only drawback is the long 4WD road. I refuse to drive all the way to the top parking lot. I like to climb mountains, not drive up them.
