Comments: really enjoyed this. i led 1st and third pitches. was gonna combine 3 and 4 but rope drag was crazy. maybe because i did sling a couple knobs in the runout section. thought the 1st pitch was between 5.6 and 5.7. the second pitch seemed to be the crux to me. a little runout for my partner at 5.7. she might have been able to place some small gear. 3rd pitch was 5.5 or maybe 5.6 but the runout section was easy. head back left as soon as you can start placing gear again and you'll end up below or be... more >>

Comments: warning-the large flake on the left near the bottom of the route is very loose. i added a photo showing it. not sure if it was just the top half that wobbles or if it was the entire flake. either way it's huge

Comments: Gotta be longer than 50'. Most of the eight bolts are 10' apart or more

Comments: I was also wondering this. Seems like an easier start than Jonesin' but then gets tougher. And it's dirty. Kept getting munge dust in the eyes.

Comments: also found it a bit stiffer than any .10a i've done, and i was following. awkward crack isn't my thing yet though. we were fine with a 60m rope and directional but i think she extended the anchor a bit

Comments: I must not love hand jams or crack climbing (actually I know this), cause I found Rentier to be much much easier. Maybe it was the 90 degree day but the inside of the crack was slick as hell. I'm pretty sure I did better on One for the Road (10d).

Comments: i found the pdf hard to decipher so I put together a little map from Google maps satellite view. Checked out camelot recently and found the anchors at the top (2 sets) but couldn't see any bolts below. It may be a trad route or it may just be runout at the top since it's not steep there. I highly doubt it's topropable but is probably single pitch leading and easy to walk off. Never looked at it from below though

Comments: The Sports LTD no longer exists at the south y center. there still is one at the crescent V Shopping center downtown. it's not as climbing centric but you can still get good info there.
