Comments: Be careful if you do this route - There is an aggitated bee's nest to the left of the belay in the second book. You should not have issues rappelling, however, the route used in a TopRope scenario stirred them up!

Comments: This route ascends the discountinous seams above Banana Crack and is about 5 feet to the right of Banana Split. Take small to med pro and is only about 20 feet high.

Comments: Great route for beginning leaders - Takes good pieces and is good at its grade. Watch for pieces that are hollow however, as is the case with most of this newly developed area.

Comments: We did the Over the Hill to Grandmothers House start - Great initial moves with nice 5.9 face moves through the top section - Adds a bit of spice to a 5.6 climb - Plus the 2nd pitch is a stout 5.6 lead for new leaders so overall a great climb.

Comments: The whole climb came down to the micro placements half way through the second pitch. a couple nut placements and GO! On the third pitch, dont hesitate to look around the corner - there is fun to be had - then you dont have to sling those heads.

I agree that a couple pieces down low would spice up the climb at the bottom as you follow the crack up. The rest of the climb was great - good first climb for someone learning lead.

Comments: Great climb! Starts with great vert'ical right off the deck with great bolting to support you on some rather unique moves. The slab is thin but the sandstone is so adhesive so its great! Great views, great rock!

Comments: There are two bolts at the top that will need to be extended
with about 40 feet of webbing to make a good toprope on this one.
You can back them up on a tree as well, but bring something to cover the end of you will burn through your rope in about 2 hours.
