More Info
I'm 32 years years old and started climbing when I was 16. Grew up in "The Springs" climbing Garden of the Gods and the South Platte... when it had trees and very few climbers.
Anyway... after years away from recreational climbing and some VERY bad injuries, I have the itch to get into CLIMBING more.Doctors told me I would never ski or climb again. One even said I would never walk again and mentioned amputation. F-that Noise!!!
So, Aid and Solo-Aid have my attention right now, but I know my free skills need to get solid again but may be limited...we will see.I have a goal to climb a bunch of big walls and I am literally dreaming about it at night. I still climb moderate Trad and sport. I also consider myself safe and very redundant in my systems.
