Oct 22, 2023 · Lead / Fell/Hung. Had to work out the sequence. Was able to get the crux by doing two short layback sections back to back. A straight in stance to place a piece. Wished I had had doubles or even triples of .2 - .4.

May 21, 2023 · 7 pitches. Lead / Fell/Hung. Great to get out again this spring. Robin and I had a great climb. Fell on the 5th pitch. Just a bit too sustained for me.

● Fat Merchant Crack
Apr 29, 2023 · 3 pitches. Lead / Onsight. Finally ticked this one off. Took along my wide buddy Robin for a strong and willing partner. She also brought the Merlin wide gear:) My rack for the business pitch was, in order of placement, a #12, 2 #9s, a #6, #5, #4 and #3. It felt very safe with this rack. The original piton is still there, and in good shape, but it is pretty far back in the crack. After clipping it, I had to squeeze down a bit, and then out towards the face to continue the claim. Robin, who is smaller than me, was able to fit through at the level of the P town. We then continued up the awkward weird corners to the lichen-covered slab and then finished with the bolt ladder to the summit. We rappelled with a single rope.
