Comments: We climbed this route using Roper's little green book, a very long time ago and like I said, we were probably off route, hence the much looser than your average vertical alpine pitch - please read what I preface my remarks with.

Comments: Lots of good steep, technical face climbs in the 5.10 range here - different from Central Pinnacles.

Comments: Different in character to the Central Pinnacles, climbs here respond well to good balance and graceful technique rather than power.

Comments: The least quality of the three but still worth doing I think, first bolt clip could be argued to be precarious with a nasty slide down and right to the ground.

Comments: Very nice climb with some variety, which yields to good balance and technical skill. Enjoyed it so much I did it twice! First bolt can be clipped from the ground.

Comments: Technical face climbing with interesting crisp holds - well worth doing. You have to pull a move to clip the first bolt, an error here could lead to broken bones or a flip head-over-heels, not good. There's small cam potential on top of the large Africa shaped flake which constitutes the opening section of the climb.

Comments: Wow - beautiful climb with very cool body-english moves the whole way up. I highly recommend this route, hit it up on the hike out from Central, you'll be glad you did. I'll give it 4-stars once it's nice and clean.

Comments: It only looks like he leading because there's a third man, Tony (who took the picture). I always have a habit of tying both ropes in when I'm in the middle of a rope of three, I think it's a good, safe habit in case something dumb happens to the up rope. Frd and Tony both adopted that habit.

Comments: Great little route - with an attention getting crux. I actually used a hand jam to clip bolt number 2.

Comments: Great moves on this route, through the steep section and over the roof, in my opinion the best route at Legoland.

Comments: I think the shared anchors are very inconvenient. Especially if Medicine Man is occupied. There's a solitary bolt up and right of the finish with a failed placement next to it, makes sense to me to reset this anchor.

Crux is tricky for a 5.9, height helps, and also route finding skills, not as good at the bolted routes left and right of it, but worth a gander.

Comments: I like this climb. Bit of a nasty landing before clipping the first bolt, I agree that it's pretty pumpy, I used a knee-bar at the undercling which helped tremendously. While the middle section is easy the rock is interesting. The final headwall will get you if you're burned out.
